Webcam & Whitby
Ready to enjoy Whitby’s best fish & chips?
Whitby Lower Harbour
Enjoy a view of Whitby’s Lower Harbour, the historic piers with their lighthouses and out to the North Sea. Through the summer months Whitby harbour is busy with activity, as fishing boats and pleasure craft make their way out to sea. During the winter, the piers protect the harbour from storms, providing shelter for the boats moored here.
Whitby Upper Harbour
Enjoy the view across Pier Road, taking in the harbour, 199 Steps and St Mary’s church on Whitby’s historic east side. You can just make out the top of Whitby Abbey too! Looking up the river you’ll see the famous Swing Bridge, which opens to allow boats in and out of the harbour.
